Interest rates are at historic lows. Conforming loans are down below 5.5% for a 30-year fixed loan and are even lower for adjustable rate mortgages. For those thinking of buying, rates this low should provide an enormous incentive to move quickly. Rates have fallen over 1% in the last two weeks, which increases affordability dramatically.
